My love for foraging began on the central coast of California. There I learned to identify many medicinal native plants and most exciting of all, mushrooms! I became obsessed. I quickly joined the local mushroom foraging club and registered to start courses with the Herbal Academy. I highly recommend their programs. I especially enjoyed learning plant identification, applications of herbal medicines and distillation.
